The rotary RTO is an upgraded and improved system of the multi-bed RTO. It is mainly composed of a reaction chamber, ceramic regenerative packing beds, a burner, and a rotary valve. The cylindrical furnace body is evenly divided into 12 fan-shaped ceramic beds, and the upper part is connected to a reaction chamber. Among them, 5 ceramic beds continuously introduce VOC – containing gas through the distribution of the rotary valve, and the other 5 symmetrical ceramic beds continuously discharge the purified gas after oxidation through the distribution of the rotary valve. The remaining 1 ceramic bed is purged with clean gas, and another 1 ceramic bed serves as an isolation. The inlet VOC distribution valve is driven by a reducer and a motor to rotate continuously at a uniform speed. Under the action of the distribution valve, the exhaust gas switches slowly and continuously among the 12 chambers. The sealing structure of the rotary RTO uses a contact – type hard seal, which is its most core component. The sealing material is selected from materials with wear – resistance, high – temperature resistance, and self – lubricating properties.
